‘Momentum’ —
Close Call Company

“Momentum” is a contemporary circus production by Close Call Company. By placing a spring floor beneath a trapeze, artist Julia Gut explores the dynamic interplay between aerial and floor acrobatics. The show approaches the concept of 'the space in between' - physically, thematically and metaphorically. She is joined on stage by Jonas Bolliger who contributes to the piece both as a live musician and an acrobat. At the heart of the project lies the exploration of transitions: the dismount from the trapeze, the leap back, and the dynamic movements that physically connect aerial and ground acrobatics.
